More about the role:

  • As our Venue Transformation Manager you will be responsible for delivering the operational and commercial change across the Venue at the SEC. You will be taking direction from the General Manager/Venue Director to deliver a programme of change initiatives across the Venue, aimed at improving guest experience, operational efficiency, and commercial success. You will also collaborate with the Business Transformation Director to embed wider strategic change into your venue with central guidance and support
  • A catalyst for strategic transformation and change throughout F&B operations at the SEC. You will ensure that change is not only delivered successfully, but also embedded in a sustainable manner, which is fit-for-purpose in achieving our strategic aims
  • The Venue Transformation Manager will be high profile and will work collaboratively with the Venue Director and the Levy UK & I Director of BT to deliver the objectives of the Venue alongside the wider Business . Supporting the operations teams, by coaching and mentoring them through the change process, will be a key aspect of the role. You will be process lead, analytical and data driven, with the ability to take direction and deliver change

About you:

  • Experienced in the commercial sector, having taken direction, and delivered business transformation programs that enhance guest experience, operational efficiency, and commercial success
  • Financially astute and understands complex finance models and accounting processes. 
  • Planned and methodical, displaying the ability to be planned and methodical in their approach, with an objective and considered point of view
  • Strategically focused, someone who engages and contributes to discussions in relation to operational strategy
  • Project management, experienced in delivering projects and/or complex initiatives in line with time and budget parameters
  • Deliverance of strategy. Can translate strategy into tangible plans to deliver the vision of change. 
  • Analytical approach, data driven in their approach to establishing business solutions, understands and champions the use of data in informing strategic approach
  • Commercially focused and understands how operating models are built and what levers can be employed to improve performance utilising a data driven approach
  • Flexible and agile, appreciating need for speed of action and reaction without diluting the quality of results
  • Strong influencer with the ability to negotiate across multiple stakeholders, demonstrates resilience, tenacity, and presence to enable transformational change to be outcome focused
  • Problem solver, someone who is able to identify a problem and react positively to this, ensuring the deliverance of the strategic objectives is achieved
