About the role
The Technical Officer role is in our Carriageway, Footway and Cycleway Team to assist the team in the technical and administration aspects of day-to-day maintenance and management of highways assets. Supporting the delivery of all aspects of planned maintenance – surface treatments, carriageway and footway patching, road markings and signs, you will be a big part of achieving our net zero targets.
We have various Highways Depots around the county, that you could be based at.

About you
We are looking for two enthusiastic candidates who preferably have knowledge of highway maintenance, a technical background or Administration experience.
Being motivated to make a visible difference to our communities and drive forward change to meet our net zero ambition.
These roles will initially be on a 2 year fixed term contract.
