We provide an out of hours community wellbeing resource where people can access support during a mental health crisis, preventing escalation of mental health problems. An alternative for people with (or developing) mental health needs, particularly where they may have otherwise attended Emergency Departments. This service supports people to develop the necessary skills to cope with a future crisis. The Safe Haven provides a safe, supportive and friendly environment helping individuals in their recovery through promotion of self‐empowerment and independence.

Working closely with your team and partner agencies, you will work with a trauma informed approach to create person centred support. You will need to have strong communication skills, the ability to work and think creatively, recognising an individual’s own needs, and be ready to sometimes deal with challenging situations.
