Hotel Porter – Goodenough Hotel
- £12.65 per hour
- 40 Hours per week
We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates for the position of Hotel Porter.
You will work proactively to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth running of the housekeeping department. This will include managing and distributing linen, maintaining stock controls, and undertaking low-level maintenance tasks, alongside general cleaning duties. You will work as part of the team in a fast-paced environment striving to achieve the highest standards at all times.
The successful candidate will be organised, punctual and efficient. You will also have excellent attention to detail and can effectively meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high-quality service. Portering duties include physical activities which will involve lifting, carrying, and manual handling, as well as the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.

- Be adaptable and easily embrace changing priorities
- Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships
- Have experience delivering high quality customer care
- Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
- Whilst previous experience of working within a Housekeeping Department in a hotel is preferred, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
