Our beautiful Grade 2 listed theatre attracts a dedicated audience from across the region, drawing in over 300,000 visitors annually to a variety of productions, including West End musicals, one-night concerts, comedy, ballet, opera and more. With a capacity of 2000, Sunderland Empire is the largest seated theatre between Edinburgh and Manchester. Over the years we have hosted the biggest West End musicals and featured an array of stars, while ensuring we continue to foster new talent and nurture those who will be the future of our creative industries with classes, recitals and community work all part of our DNA.
This role is based within our in house Pizzeria – Pizza Al Teatro inside our Sunderland venue. You’ll report to the Customer Experience Manager or Duty Manager on shift. You’ll work closely with other members of the kitchen team, but also be confident to work in the kitchen on your own when required to do so. You will work with your Pizza Al Teatro service team ensuring communication and teamwork are key to each service and will be part of the wider customer experience team. Daytimes, Evenings and Weekend availability is essential for this role.
