We are looking for experienced business analysts who wish to expand their skills are needed to join an experienced and supportive team. Working across all areas of the Council we have a range of projects that will challenge and expand your experience. Main Purpose of the Role

As a Business Analyst (BA) you will be a key part of the team in delivering change throughout the Council. You will investigate business problems and opportunities, translating them into detailed requirements to deliver value and great outcomes. You will lead workshops, interviews and focus groups and to effectively understand the business problems and user needs. You will develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. communicating effectively across both technical and business stakeholders. You will gain a good understanding of the business processes and activities

Key Skills and Experience Required

Experience in a Business Analyst role
Strong analytical skills, ability to understand problems and express the complexity of them in clear terms to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to take the initiative, be assertive and think strategically.
Ability to deliver quality in a fast-paced environment.
Aptitude for multi-tasking, working to emerging & tight timelines.
Strong communication skills
