Bank Phlebotomy Healthcare Assistant

Salary: £16.90 per hour

 

If successful, you will be required to attend our 5 day mandatory virtual induction ahead of working as a Bank HCA

You will be working at the forefront of our services, visiting Oncology patients in their own homes, performing clinical tasks, including but not limited to venepuncture and central venous access device care. Our major focus is on clinical excellence and first-class care. We’ll give you all the support and flexibility you need to spend quality time with your patients and provide them with high quality 1-2-1 care.

About You

You have to be well-organised to succeed in this role, as you will be responsible for managing your own workload and itinerary as well as for supporting patients in the pre assessment process prior to treatment to ensure they are well and able to receive their treatment. You’ll be travelling between patients throughout the day, so a full UK driving licence is essential. Other must-haves include being trained to perform venepuncture and a care certificate or equivalent (NVQ)
