Get Set for Impact: Empower the Next Generation in Belfast
We’re looking for passionate Youth Workers to support the delivery of a transformative youth employment programme in Belfast. You’ll be the steady hand and encouraging voice that helps young people build confidence, gain essential life skills, and progress into further learning, training, or employment.
This is a role that combines qualification delivery with real, human-centred care. From the first action plan to the final achievement, you’ll be there, every step of the way.
TL;DR: Location: Belfast Contract: Permanent Salary: £25 – 30k doe and qualifications
Role Purpose: You’ll support young people through structured group and 1:1 sessions focused on personal development, employability, and accredited qualifications (excluding Essential Skills). You’ll deliver RRQ Preparation for Work and Foundations for Learning and Life, while providing ongoing pastoral care to support wellbeing and positive progression.
Success in this role looks like: Young people building confidence and resilience; Consistent learner achievement across qualifications; Clear progression into education, training or employment; Positive feedback from learners, stakeholders and partners
Your Role: What You’ll Achieve

In this role, you will:
- (Strategic Direction) Deliver tailored induction, diagnostic, and action planning sessions to build clear, personalised learner pathways.
- (Deliver Results) Deliver high-quality personal and social development, employability learning and accredited qualifications (RRQ Preparation for Work and Foundations for Learning and Life).
- (People & Communication) Provide holistic pastoral care and 1:1 support that motivates young people to overcome barriers and stay engaged.
- (Get It Right) Maintain clear records and ensure full compliance with quality, safeguarding, and programme standards.
- (Business Acumen) Adapt your delivery to meet local needs and ensure positive outcomes aligned with funding requirements and partner goals.

Who You Are
You’re a caring, confident facilitator who’s passionate about seeing young people grow. You know that real impact comes from relationships built on trust, consistency, and encouragement. You bring:
- A PGCE, CIT, or Level 3/4 youth work qualification that includes planning, delivering and evaluating learning with young people
- OR a willingness to start the CIT within 2 years of joining
- Experience delivering youth programmes or qualifications in personal development or employability
- Confidence working with young people who face multiple barriers to engagement
- A strong grasp of behaviour management, motivation, and positive communication
