About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Team Manager to lead the team of social care professionals within the Adult Social Care Services. This is a key leadership role focused on delivering high-quality, strengths-based support to adults, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met and needs are addressed effectively. As a manager you will be working with the Senior Leadership Team in ensuring your team is achieving the objectives and outcomes.

About you
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and managing staff, including qualified professionals, within a social care setting.
- Preferably a recognised professional qualification (Degree or Diploma) in health or social care and hold relevant professional registration.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act and safeguarding frameworks.
- Experience in leading safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in IT systems and confident in presenting information to various audiences.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in both service delivery and employment practices.
