About the role
Huntingdon Day Services consists of three day centres supporting adults with learning disabilities across Huntingdon, St Ives (CATS), and St Neots (Shortsands). The main centre is located near Huntingdon town centre, and all services operate Monday to Friday.
As a Support Worker, you’ll join a dedicated team focused on empowering individuals through meaningful activities and personalised support. Your role will help enhance wellbeing, promote independence, and support people to reach their full potential.
We’re looking for applicants with enthusiasm and creativity, especially those with skills or interests in activities like exercise, arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, and music. You’ll also help service users access community resources and engage in local life.

About you
We are looking for caring, passionate, and motivated individuals who are keen to make a difference and provide exceptional care and support.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident using IT systems to complete documentation. You will be able to demonstrate a sensitive and professional approach, understand and apply principles of equality, diversity, and safeguarding and be able to empower individuals and recognise their unique needs and choices.
Experience in a similar role is welcome, but we also encourage applications from those with transferable skills from other sectors such as education, healthcare, or customer service. Full training and support will be provided.
