Come and join our award-winning teams – we are currently recruiting for a Support Services Manager to join our team at Currys – Newark – Megabite.
Location: Field based covering Nottingham to Towcester with paid travel
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 5/7 but mainly Monday to Friday, 7:00-16:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a busy B&I catering operation, including a café and full food service offer, serving up to 600 covers per day
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, including site support, administration, finance, and compliance activities
- Manage and oversee cleaning, catering, retail, portering, pest control, and security services
- Ensure service excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all service areas
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Manage budgets and supplier relationships effectively
- Lead and motivate diverse teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence
- Liaise with client stakeholders and site management teams as required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Support the delivery of company objectives while maintaining high standards across all services
About You:
- Proven experience in managing hospital support services
- Strong leadership and operational management skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
