We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Forecasting & Replenishment team at Greggs as Retail Forecasting Support Manager.

About the role

What you’ll do

  • Understand the current retail forecast operation (system and process) within the current forecast teams
  • Understand how the Category forecasting, Demand forecasting, Forecast analyst and Replenishment teams work together for events, new shops, product launches, seasonal campaigns and stock shortages
  • Support the forecast team on day to day activities during the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, migration and also during holiday periods
  • Understand the reporting process and help develop and enhance KPIs and alerts

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

  • Are a highly numerate graduate with a strong analytical background, ideally a degree with an element of mathematics/statistics or computer programming
  • Have experience working in SAP, ideally in SAP S/4HANA
  • Have experience of data manipulation in Python
  • Are a logical thinker with excellent problem solving skills and an analytical mindset, with  experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
  • Have strong PC skills and an ability to interrogate large data sets using Excel and Python, with an ability to communicate and apply complex data in a simple, easily understood manner
  • Are results focussed with strong planning and organisation skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously within challenging deadlines
  • Can build good working relationships to work cross-functionally within Greggs
  • Are a confident individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at all levels whilst maintaining a strong customer focus
