About The Role

​The role is versatile, with multiple duties, responsibilities and opportunities for career development.
​Role to be carried out to the required standard, whilst remaining compliant and providing excellent customer service.
The role will ensure completion of all mandated Health & Safety training, including eLearning modules, within required timeframes to maintain compliance with statutory and organisational standards.
 
  • Work alongside the campus engineering teams delivering planned and reactive maintenance
  • Implement newly learned skills in the workplace and share knowledge with the wider teams
  • Complete inspections fabric general repairs (painting, tiling, basic plumbing, joinery)
  • Raise remedial work with the management team
  • Complete paperwork associated with planned maintenance promptly and to a high standard
  • Work in collaboration with technicians to manage stock levels
  • Assist relevant contractors
  • Offer an excellent level of customer service to all
  • Attend college as and when required in line with the course schedule as well as any additional training required by KCL
  • To ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with all relevant statutory regulations and approved codes of practice, the department’s policies and procedures
  • To assist the Team in delivery of unplanned works
  • Carry out duties as may reasonably be required to allow the department to function flexibly in providing the best possible service to our clients
  • To comply with the University’s Environmental policy and promote sustainable management techniques.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a Fixed Term contract.
