MEH Engineering Integration Lead – Bristol
Sizewell C is entering an exciting phase of growth as we mature into an independent organisation and continue building one of the UK’s largest and most important energy projects. We are now recruiting the below position:
Position: MEH Engineering Integration Lead
Location: Bristol preferred, London can be considered. Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: Starting from £66,866 depending on experience, plus benefits
Benefits include:
- Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays
- Bonus: 5% annual bonus
- Pension Contributions: Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with up to 7.5% employee contribution 15% employer contribution
- Life Assurance: Up to 8 x salary

About the Role:
The Engineering Integration team with Sizewell C is responsible for end-to-end replication and configuration management, engineering data and tools, engineering sequencing, and MEH integration activities.
As an Engineering Integration Specialist, you will support the delivery of Engineering Integration activities across the Technical Directorate, with a specific focus on the MEH scope. Working closely with project stakeholders, engineering teams and delivery programmes, you will help coordinate technical integration activities, support the development and implementation of engineering sequences, contribute to replication activities, and provide support on complex engineering topics to help ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Engineering Integration team in managing technical integration activities across the Technical Directorate, with a specific focus on the MEH scope.
- Develop expertise in the Sizewell C MEH engineering replication strategy and support its implementation across the project.
- Develop, update and implement MEH engineering sequences and associated documentation.
- Act as technical author for key process documents required to deliver engineering design replication.
- Provide support on complex and cross-functional engineering topics, engaging stakeholders to resolve issues and develop effective solutions.
- Lead and facilitate workshops, develop recommendations and support implementation of agreed actions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project managers and engineering teams across delivery programmes and the Technical Directorate.
- Support oversight of technical Project Work Requests and engineering changes to enable informed engineering decision-making.
- Create and deliver replication-focused training materials to support project teams.
- Build and maintain strong links with delivery programmes to ensure interfaces are effectively managed and project objectives are achieved.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Involvement in coordinating multi-disciplinary design/procurement work and driving design/procurement teams to deliver on time.
- Project management, project engineering, technical co-ordination experience.
- Background in mechanical, electrical, process, systems or civil engineering for large industrial plants.
- Good understanding of the complexity of major projects, including interface management between scope areas.
- Excellent communication skills in client-facing and contractor-facing situations.
- General professional qualities such as accuracy, tenacity, result-oriented and teamwork-oriented attitude, diplomacy.
- 5+ years working in the nuclear industry, or other highly regulated environment.
Desirable
- Previous engineering or project management experience in the nuclear industry.
- An understanding of engineering principles within EPR projects with a detail overview of the EPR project design would be appreciated.
- Prior experience working on the HPC Project (HPC NNB, HPC supply chain, HPC Responsible Designer, other).
- Capable of coordinating cross cutting technical topics.
- An understanding of the commercial aspects of major project delivery would be beneficial.
- Experience of the pre-tender and tender stages of procuring contracts for the design, manufacturing and/or installation of industrial equipment.
- Association with an Engineering and/or Project Management Institute.
- Internal and external relationship & stakeholder management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree, or higher in Engineering or other appropriate discipline.
Desirable
- Project Management: PMP or Prince2.
- Chartered, or working towards chartership, with a recognised institution.
