General Operative
The Role and About the Person you are looking for:

We are seeking a reliable individual to carry out street cleaning duties, including sweeping, litter collection, and operating cleaning machinery to maintain clean public areas.
The role involves grounds maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and emptying bins, including handling hazardous waste like faeces, needles, and deceased animals.
Additional duties include graffiti and vandalism removal, seasonal work like gritting, and reporting public space defects using mobile devices.
You must interact politely with the public, offering help and information as needed while delivering a courteous and professional service.

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 31.5 hours per week on a four on/four off shift.
Working Pattern: 4 Days out of every 8 days – hours of work 6am to 4pm
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £29,540 to £32,061 per annum (City Pay Band 3) pro rata for part time
Location: Cowley Road Operational Hub
