Shift hours: Permanent

As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with food service, customer service and generally supporting the operations while adhering to all Health and Food Safety requirements.

Here’s an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up  Tea and coffee stations for service
  • Setting up Meeting rooms and replenishing throughout the day
  • Assisting with event service of food and drink
  • Cleaning of meeting and set up areas after meetings and events
  • Collection all food left over and make sure it is weighed in accordance with the Food Wastage System on site for Head Chefs/GM Reports
  • Preparation of service area and/or service points.
  • Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Compass.
  • Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
  • Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
  • Adhere to high levels of hygiene standard
  • Always keep the Hospitality kitchen and preparation areas in a clean and tidy state.
  • Ensuring correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
  • Assisting colleagues in a willing and positive manner including assisting with other duties as required with in the Unit and other Units in Compass.
  • Working with and taking direction from management
  • Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations at all times.

  • Previous experience in catering or customer service, that would be an added advantage, but not essential.
