What You’ll Do
As a Practice Area Coordinator within BCG’s Operations Practice Area, you will support the Global Projects Team and Practice Area leadership in running the day-to-day operations of the practice.
You will take end-to-end ownership of a range of administrative and operational processes, ensuring that activities are well coordinated, delivered on time and executed to a high standard. You will work across multiple stakeholders, processes and timelines and will be expected to bring structure, discipline and follow-through to the work you own.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing core business processes, including budget updates, year-end accounting, appeals and allocation processes
- Coordinating affiliation tracking and management, as well as supporting people survey analyses and related follow-up activities
- Coordinating the logistics for key global meetings and events, including Operations Leadership Team meetings, Worldwide Operations meetings and town halls
- Drafting and deploying internal Practice Area communications and maintaining the internal editorial calendar
- Maintaining and updating internal Practice Area microsites and other communication channels
- Supporting the Global Projects Team on people-related and commercial projects as required
- Managing Operations Practice Management Team meetings, including agenda coordination, meeting preparation and team-building events
- Providing global coordination and operational support for ad hoc Practice Area priorities and requests
YOU’RE GOOD AT
- Independently managing administrative and operational processes from start to finish
- Coordinating multiple workstreams, stakeholders and deadlines
- Applying strong project management discipline to recurring processes and ad hoc initiatives
- Analysing data, identifying key insights and presenting information clearly
- Planning and coordinating meetings and events with precision and attention to detail
- Drafting clear, concise and professional internal communications
- Proactively identifying issues, following up on open actions and driving work to completion
- Working effectively with senior stakeholders and geographically dispersed teams
- Remaining organised and responsive while managing competing priorities
- Exercising sound judgement and knowing when to seek guidance or escalate an issue
- Building effective working relationships across Practice Area, Business Services and leadership teams
- Adapting quickly to changing priorities and supporting the team wherever needed
What You’ll Bring
- 2-4+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated independence and autonomy in internal/external interactions
- Ability to think analytically, adopting out the box thinking
- Ability to execute tasks that require independent judgment, based on processes/policies
- Ability to effectively coordinate day today work; apply working knowledge of primary function and demonstrating the ability to solve problems within own role
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – in your mother tongue and in English
- Professional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitude
- Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in stressful situations
- Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong AI fluency, with a practical track record of using AI tools to improve productivity, enhance decision-making, and streamline day-to-day work.
Who You’ll Work With
You will coordinate closely with Global and Regional PA Leaders, the Global Practice Management Executive Director and the OPS Practice Area Management & Operations team, as well as the Business Services and functional teams, alongside Practice Area Coordinators across other PAs.

Practice Area Management & Operations team members keep BCG’s industry and functional practice areas operating responsively and efficiently. As a member of this team, you will contribute directly to the success of our business through a number of roles, including content development, process management, marketing, meeting and conference management, and internal/external communications.
