Financial Analyst (fixed-term contract) –

We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as a Financial Analyst (fixed-term contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting group reporting, statutory requirements, tax compliance, and financial audits, as well as partnering with various stakeholders across the business. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, solid knowledge of accounting standards, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate accruals analysis and posting
  • Supervise posting of cost invoices in cooperation with the AP department
  • Prepare postings in the financial system during closing periods
  • Review profit & loss accounts (including SG&A and material margin analysis)
  • Review and analyse balance sheet accounts as part of the FloQast process
  • Support statutory and statistical reporting requirements (DG1, F01, SP/ZOS, SR, INTRASTAT)
  • Support annual statutory audits, including pre-audit processes, audit documentation, and direct communication with auditors
  • Ensure full VAT compliance in line with Polish regulations by overseeing documentation processes, collaborating with external partners, monitoring risks and discrepancies, and maintaining accurate, transparent, and accessible records
  • Handle bank reporting and audit requirements, liaise with banks on guarantees and company cards, and support payment processes in cooperation with AP and Trade Compliance.
  • Maintain financial trackers and SharePoint documentation, collaborate with Trade Compliance and warehouse teams, and provide ad hoc support to the Finance Controller and wider business.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience in financial reporting or audit support
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • High-level command of English, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to work on a fixed-term contract, with the position running until August 2027
