Job Title: Examination Access Arrangements (EAA) Assessor (Reduced Year)
Salary: Commencing at £30,527 with progression to £34,349 per annum pro rata
About the Role
What You Will Do
- You will be supporting learners with emotional and behavioural difficulties, and have worked in a similar role previously.
- You will need to plan, prepare and implement support plans and carry out assessments to support young people and/or vulnerable adults to be successful in their studies.
- You will perform appropriate tests based on the student’s need, to ensure they confirm the student’s normal way of working.
- Be the primary point of contact for learners and work collaboratively with the wider college community to ensure that the Group meets its duty in terms of the SEND Code of Practice and the JCQ regulations in relation to exam access arrangements.
About You
- Postgraduate qualification in individual specialist assessment at or equivalent to level 7, e.g CP3TA, PAPPA, Diploma for Teachers of Learners with Specific Learning Difficulties.
- Experience of working with students with specific learning difficulties.
- Relevant and current experience of applying exam access requirements in line with JCQ guidelines.
- Have use of own transport or able to travel to multiple sites at short notice.
- Strong Awareness of disability issues and equality and diversity issues.
- Excellent organisational skills.
