The Event Planner plays a key role in delivering seamless events, from conferences and exhibitions to corporate dinners, by collaborating closely with clients and the
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with corporate clients to understand goals, audience, and catering needs.
• Advise on menus, room layout, and logistics.
• Prepare event proposals, function sheets, and floorplans.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols for large-scale events
• Provide transparent cost estimates and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to optimise quality and cost.
• Identify and execute upsell opportunities
• Manage contracts, deposits, and invoicing in line with Compass policy.
• Serve as the main point of contact throughout the event lifecycle.
• Ensure flawless execution through proactive problem-solving.
• Conduct site visits and post-event evaluations to drive continuous improvement.

• Strong communicator with a professional telephone manner and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
