About the role

Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are looking for a proactive EHC Locality Administrator to join our dedicated team and help facilitate essential processes that ensure every child receives the right support.

What will you be doing?

As an EHC Locality Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our Education, Health, and Care (EHC) team, supporting the statutory assessment process and managing EHC plans. 

This includes:  

Assisting the EHC Officers, Caseworkers and Locality Team Leader in overseeing assessments and compliance with statutory requirements  

Accurately maintaining and updating records within Capita ONE database (training provided)  

Managing your own caseload independently, ensuring deadlines and legal obligations are met  

Handling queries from families, professionals, and partner organisations with professionalism and efficiency  

Providing administrative support to ensure children and young people receive the support they need to thrive

About you

We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in busy environments and enjoys problem-solving and collaboration. Key attributes include:

Excellent attention to detail, with a keen ability to spot inconsistencies and ensure accuracy

Strong organisational skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines

Effective communicator, able to engage with professionals, families, and colleagues with clarity and confidence

Proficiency in IT systems, with experience in administrative databases (training on Capita ONE will be provided)

Team player attitude, ensuring seamless collaboration within a large, supportive team
