About the role
The Academy Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming Academy data into clear, impactful insights that illuminate each player’s development journey. Working closely with coaches, sports science and medical teams, you will blend data engineering, analytics and storytelling to support informed decision-making across the player pathway.
What you’ll do

Integrate football, sports science and academy data into analysis-ready datasets.

Build Tableau, Power BI and visual analytics products that support player development decisions.

Develop reporting and dashboards that track player progression and performance.

Present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Apply football context to technical, tactical, physical and behavioural analysis.

Explore innovative tools and methods to enhance insight delivery and workflows.

Working within the Academy and wider Data & Insights function, you will collaborate with coaches, analysts and multidisciplinary practitioners to support the development of future first-team players.
