Shift hours: Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group Ireland, working full time of 37.5 hours per week. This role follows a night shift pattern (18:20 – 02:30), Sunday to Thursday, with flexibility required as part of a 5 over 7 working week.

As a Chef Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our operation—leading from the front to deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in supporting and developing your team, maintaining standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the front of house areas are clean, tidy and attractive during opening times
  • Place orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
  • Check and put away all deliveries promptly and correctly
  • Ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage production
  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver superior customer service at all times 
  • Cash up at the end of a late shift and complete beverage stock takes when required
  • In the absence of the Manager, assist in the completion of weekly administration and any other duties that are deemed necessary
  • Be pro-active at all times and use initiative, diplomacy and discretion to solve any problems that may arise
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed

About You:

  • Previous experience supervising frontline teams
  • Customer service focused
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
  • Experience in a similar environment
