Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities

  • Own the cardfactory P&L for your accounts, working closely with your finance business partner ensuring all decisions are in line with budget requirements.
  • Develop partner trade activity activities and where required work in conjunction with cardfactory critical path timelines.
  • In conjunction with the customer, analyse and report on the weekly / monthly performance to all internal and external stakeholders to drive increased sales, determine operational effectiveness and identify new opportunities.
  • In conjunction with the partner, identify category strengths and weaknesses in the retail landscape and recommend action plans, covering a wide breadth of issues including product mix, merchandising and promotions to take advantage of these opportunities. 
  • Conduct quarterly in depth category reviews with the customer, reviewing all aspects of performance and developing joint business plans
  • Be the key expert in the requirements of your markets and customers, ensure that wider cardfactory team is clear on your customer needs
  • Work with wider partnerships team to ensure cardfactory is delivering its contractual obligations and KPI’s. 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in a retail Account Management environment with a good understanding of end-to-end processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of financial P&L Account modelling and budget ownership.
  • Critical thinking, managing accounts ensuring cardfactory goals are achieved whilst balancing ongoing partner relationships i.e. ‘win-win’.
  • Ideally experience working in a fast paced commercial retail operation with an understanding of product critical path.
  • Awareness of supply chain processes.
  • Negotiation Skills
