Job Title: Apprentice Teacher – Hairdressing
Salary: £24,597 per annum
About the Role
What You Will Do
- Plan, prepare and develop effective schemes of work, lesson plans and high-quality teaching and learning resources, including engaging online learning materials.
- Deliver inspiring and inclusive teaching sessions across the curriculum, using a wide range of innovative and effective teaching, learning and assessment methods.
- Design and deliver effective assessment activities, providing timely, constructive and developmental feedback that motivates learners and supports them to improve and achieve their full potential.
- Build positive, professional relationships with learners, providing appropriate support, encouragement and guidance to promote confidence, self-esteem, progress and successful outcomes.
- Work collaboratively as part of a friendly, supportive and committed team, contributing to a positive learning environment and sharing a passion for developing learners’ skills, confidence, abilities and progression.
About You
- You will be willing to work towards L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE)
- You will hold relevant vocational qualifications in the subject area
- English and Maths at Level 2 or above and a willingness to improve in one or both disciplines to level 3 or above
- You will have relevant up to date subject knowledge and recent delivery in the Further Education or school sector.
- Relevant experience, knowledge and skills to enable delivery of a range of levels across the curriculum, which demonstrates active learning and differentiated teaching styles
