Searcys are looking for a Barista / Cafe Assistant to join the team at Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, you will be  responsible for providing service excellences to our customers, guests and clients within the in-house staff cafe “The Hub”. Area for RICS staff to relax and unwind.

Job Description

  • Cafe Barista
  • £14 p/h – 0 hours contract
  • Monday – Friday only
  • 7am – 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • To help set up the cafe area and coffee bar, ready for each service
  • To provide counter service for breakfast & lunch offering
  • To help with any clearing and general cleaning duties
  • To check and put away any food and beverage after service
  • To ensure wastage forms are completed
  • To restock the fridge for the next day
  • To ensure all labels and prices are correct
  • To work on tills and following the Searcys cash handling procedures



Qualifications

  • Friendly, outgoing personality; a people person.
  • Good listening & verbal communication skills
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
  • Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
