Chef de Partie – Staff Dining

An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented Chef de Partie to join a flagship workplace hospitality operation in the heart of Canary Wharf.
This premium, high-volume environment delivers exceptional food experiences across colleague dining, cafés, hospitality suites, events and conferencing spaces within one of London’s most impressive corporate headquarters. Set within a beautifully refurbished building, the operation combines innovation, quality and pace with a strong focus on fresh food and outstanding service standards.
We are looking for a passionate and driven chef who thrives in fast-paced kitchens and takes genuine pride in delivering consistently high-quality food.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of a dedicated kitchen section within the staff dining operation, ensuring smooth and efficient service while maintaining exceptional culinary standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running a designated kitchen section during service
- Preparing and cooking dishes in line with agreed menus and specifications
- Front facing customer engagement, live cooking
- Delivering high-volume breakfast and lunch services without compromising quality
- Supporting multiple food concepts including counters, grab & go and hot food service
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, HACCP and allergen compliance standards
- Ensuring your section remains clean, organised and service ready at all times
- Supporting stock rotation, portion control and waste reduction initiatives
- Working closely with senior chefs and supporting junior team members
- Contributing to a positive, professional and collaborative kitchen culture
About You
We are looking for a chef who combines strong technical ability with energy, professionalism and a genuine passion for food.
You will ideally have:
- Previous Chef de Partie experience within high-volume hospitality or contract catering environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and allergen management
- The ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
- A passion for producing fresh, high-quality food consistently
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility across different food styles and service concepts
