Job Title: Talent Development Partner – Functional Programmes
Location: Hybrid – Peterborough office and Home-based, with some UK and international travel
Contract and Shift details: Permanent
Package includes: Salary from £45,000 plus a benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and reward your impact, including discretionary performance related bonus, private healthcare, car allowance and a matched pension contribution of up to 10%

You’ll sit at the heart of our global talent agenda, working closely with leaders and People & Performance colleagues to design and deliver development programmes that are practical, inclusive and closely aligned to business priorities. It’s a role with real visibility, where you’ll influence how we strengthen succession, close capability gaps and create meaningful career pathways across our functional teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing, delivering and managing our award‑winning Ruminant Technical Excellence Programme (RTEP), alongside developing new functional excellence programmes.
- Bringing our sales capability framework to life through innovative and impactful people development solutions.
- Creating targeted development solutions that address talent, capability and succession gaps across the AB Agri portfolio.
- Using strategic workforce planning insight to identify opportunities to reskill and upskill internal talent.
- Partnering with leaders and People & Performance teams to build robust development and succession plans.
- Supporting Talent Council conversations and driving actions that enable internal mobility and progression.
- Demonstrating the value of development interventions through clear and timely ROI.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience designing and delivering talent development programmes with demonstrable impact.
- Strong capability in workforce planning and using insight to shape practical development solutions.
- Experience delivering development initiatives such as coaching, 360 feedback and high‑potential programmes.
- The ability to influence and partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A collaborative, organised and solution‑focused approach, with a commitment to inclusive practice.
