Job Title: NAM Senior Poultry Technical Manager
About the role
Are you an experienced poultry nutrition specialist with deep knowledge of the North American broiler market? As our NAM Senior Poultry Technical Manager, you will strengthen AB Vista’s technical presence across North America. You’ll act as a senior technical partner to the regional business, helping customers understand and apply our solutions in practical, field-based ways. This externally facing role requires substantial market knowledge, a strong nutrition background, and the credibility to engage producers, nutritionists and technical teams. You will contribute to technical strategy, support customer development, and help adapt proven approaches to the North American market. The role is home-based in the US with significant travel (40–50%) across the region and Canada.
What you’ll be doing
- Serve as the senior technical lead for poultry in North America, with a strong emphasis on the broiler segment and the major producers operating in the region.
- Build technical credibility with customers by leading discussions on poultry nutrition, product application, feeding strategies and performance outcomes.
- Support the early and middle stages of the commercial process by using technical expertise to open doors, shape customer conversations and help move opportunities forward toward trials and adoption.
- Contribute to the design, adaptation and follow-up of technical trials, ensuring protocols are relevant for North American customers and aligned with local production realities.
- Maintain active visibility in the market through customer visits, technical discussions and industry engagement across North America.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in poultry nutrition, with a strong preference for candidates who bring deep expertise in broiler nutrition within the North American market.
- A strong technical background in animal nutrition, with the ability to discuss formulation, nutritional strategy and how nutrition influences bird health and performance.
- Senior-level experience, typically gained over many years in technical roles supporting poultry production, customer-facing technical management or closely related positions.
- Strong understanding of the US poultry industry, including key producers, customer expectations and the practical realities of working in this market.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the presence and credibility to engage a wide range of customer contacts and internal stakeholders.
