About the role
You will be part of a core PLM team that will define the overall Blueprint for Product Lifecycle Management and its subsequent implementation in the PLM solution. You will represent regulatory in the PLM programme, ensuring that the requirements for regulatory are fully integrated into product designs. To do so, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across Reckitt R&D and manufacturing sites and a range of functions including R&D Category Development and R&D Product Delivery and Maintenance (PDM), Specification Management, Procurement, Quality, Supply Technical and Sustainability.

Your responsibilities
- You will work alongside the BPL for Regulatory and work closely with the other BPLs in the core PLM team, primarily the BPLs for Raw Materials, Formulation and Safety.
- Critically, you will engage regularly with the Regulatory community to keep them informed on progress and to seek information and expertise relevant to the implementation of the programme as well as help and support to remove roadblocks.
- Using your indepth knowledge of a variety of regulatory environments and processes you will support PLM activities, with a focus on testing and validation of the new PLM solution. Supporting the BPL’s to map the ‘As-is’ and the ‘To-be’ processes where regulatory interfaces, including; Standardising roles and responsibilities, Documentation formats Creation of clear Data Quality standards, How Product is obsoleted and the associated criteria for doing so.
- Input into initiatives within PLM that have a primary focus on regulatory e.g. ensuring impact of changes impacting dossiers etc is understood and considered.
- Work with the Regulatory and Safety BPL’s to build a community of practice around data management in the regulatory and safety (RAS) community.
- Work with this community of Practice to ensure that any changes to regulatory impacted data and documentation are managed and implemented smoothly in the PLM solution.
- Working as part of the PLM Deployment team, communicate and implement the ‘to-be’ process as part of the PLM solution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise as relevant to Regulatory.
The experience we're looking for
- Good degree in a relevant technical discipline
- Working knowledge within the regulatory function across categories within Reckitt scope.
- Working knowledge of regulatory data management across different product classifications.
- It is preferred that the above Working Knowledge has been gained within Reckitt and in the context of Selfcare/intimate wellness and or Surface and Household care products, such that the individual already has established, relevant Communities of Practice in which they work that can be built upon.
- Experience of working with at least two of the categories within Reckitt core (i.e two of: self care; intimate wellness; germ protection; household care
- Demonstrated experience of representing regulatory to deliver cross functional projects
- If not from within Reckitt, it is preferred that the above Working knowledge has been gained within either an FMCG and/or pharma environment.
- Good understanding of the product lifecycle and of regulations impacting the FMCG sector.
- Good IT literacy with proficiency in the use of the MS Office product suite and Office 365.
- Self-motivated with strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to operate successfully in various team capacities and a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks under pressure.
- The business language in RB is English, therefore fluency in English is essential and fluency in local languages advantageous.
