About the role
We’re looking for a motivated legal professional to join our Group Legal Procurement team at our Corporate Headquarters in Slough, UK. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a FTSE 100 organisation and play a meaningful role in supporting global procurement efforts.
In this role, you’ll offer expert legal contract guidance and collaborate with our Global Indirect Procurement teams—working closely with colleagues across Slough, Amsterdam, and beyond. You’ll partner on a wide range of procurement categories including Marketing, SaaS, IT&D, Professional Services, CAPEX, Warehousing, Energy, and Logistics.
As part of the Global Procurement Legal Leadership Team and the wider Legal & Compliance community, you’ll help shape strategic procurement and commercial arrangements, working in partnership with the Head of Legal, Global Indirect Procurement.
Your responsibilities
- Drafting, negotiating, and supporting various procurement agreements (including supply, confidentiality, services, CAPEX, warehousing, energy, and freight/logistics, SaaS, Professional Services, and IT&D agreements ) governed by English Law.
- Providing strategic advice and support for large-scale procurement and commercial activities.
- Offering legal counsel on complex international commercial transactions, including contract and competition law.
- Collaborating closely with the Global Procurement teams, various business units, the Global Legal Procurement team, and other members of the Reckitt Group Legal team (including Group Compliance, Data Protection, Global Innovation Legal, Patents, Insurance and Brand Protection teams).
The experience we're looking for
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- UK Law degree and admission as a lawyer/solicitor in the UK (or a similar common law jurisdiction).
- 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in an international environment, either in private practice at a law firm or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational corporation.
- Proven experience in drafting procurement and other commercial agreements; experience in direct procurement is a plus.
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with contract management software and a solid understanding of information systems.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written; additional languages are a plus.
