Redefine What a Workplace Can Taste Like.

At the heart of our iconic media campus in North West London is a community of over 10,000 creatives, storytellers, and innovators. We believe food is more than just fuel — it’s culture, connection, and experience. And we’re looking for a Head of Operations who can help us deliver just that, every day.

This isn’t your typical operations role. We’re after an energetic, people-focused operator with a sharp commercial mind, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering unforgettable food experiences at scale.

As a member of the BaxterStorey family, you will have access to a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages growth and celebrates diversity. Investing in your development and provide ongoing training to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge to thrive in your role whilst being dedicated to ensuring your work-life balance thus enabling you to pursue your passion for hospitality while also taking care of yourself.

This is more than a job. It’s a chance to lead one of the most exciting food operations in the UK media landscape — where creativity meets scale, and service meets soul. We’re building something exceptional here. If you’re ready to redefine what’s possible in workplace dining — and want to do it with purpose, energy, and a smile — we want to meet you

Job Description

You’ll lead the operations of a buzzing, multi-site catering ecosystem, delivering high-volume, high-impact food services — from early morning coffees and lunch rushes to curated events and culinary pop-ups. Your mission? To elevate every moment of the dining experience across the entire campus.

Our Head of Operations will manage large teams, influence culture, and turn feedback and trends into action. You’ll be the person who makes it all run — seamlessly, profitably, and memorably.

  • Championing Excellence: Elevate our food and service standards across all dayparts — breakfast, lunch, events — ensuring we consistently wow both clients and customers.
  • Fuelling Innovation: Drive sales and engagement by evolving our offer with creativity, bold ideas, and a hunger to do things differently.
  • Owning the Commercials: Deliver and exceed financial targets, identifying smart ways to grow revenue while optimising cost and quality.
  • Delivering Weekly Experiences: Partner with our Culinary and Project teams to bring weekly pop-ups and campus-wide food moments to life, including the management of our independent “Fuel Traders.”
  • Leading with Energy: Inspire and motivate large, multi-site teams — leading from the front, having fun, and building a culture of pride and performance.
  • Reacting in Real Time: Be agile and responsive — adjusting quickly to trends, customer feedback, and campus activities.
  • Driving Strategic Initiatives: Lead commercial workshop actions to enhance client experience and shape best-in-class services.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Track industry and market trends to keep us future-focused and ahead of expectations.
  • Ensuring Safety & Security: Oversee compliance across all legislative and company standards — from health & safety to staff and stock security.
  • Bringing Events to Life: Oversee planning and flawless execution of all catering events, ensuring excellence from idea to delivery.
  • Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Work with sales, marketing, and culinary leads to develop, promote, and grow our services.
  • Shaping Growth: Vet new business opportunities and ensure commercial proposals deliver true value.

Qualifications

  • A high-performing, commercially astute operator with a track record of managing large teams and multi-site, high-volume operations.
  • A confident leader who thrives on human connection — energising others, building culture, and getting the best from every person.
  • A problem solver and trend-watcher who adapts fast and leads with curiosity.
  • Financially savvy with a sharp understanding of P&L, forecasting, and commercial value.
  • A natural collaborator who works seamlessly with culinary teams, creatives, and clients.
  • Obsessed with details, passionate about food, and excited to challenge the status quo.
