Job Introduction

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative person to act as internal Project Lead, initially on a 12 month fixed-term contract, working with internal and external stakeholders to establish a Project Management Office (PMO) and understand our data and operational needs. The purpose of the role is to ensure that these needs are incorporated into new systems implemented in front and back office, whilst being responsible for establishing a project governance environment and ensuring all key stakeholders are supported through this organisational change.

This is a 12 month contract paying an annual salary between £50000 – £60000. We will consider paying a comparable day rate to this salary range, which would fall inside of IR35 rules.

Salary:            £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience

Main Responsibility

  • Support the Eden Executive Team (“EET”) in establishing a project governance environment in an organisation that has not previously benefitted from a formal PMO
  • Ensure internal and external stakeholder buy-in to the process and facilitate effective communication and collaboration between each group
  • Liaise with external project teams to be the internal lead on the implementation of new SaaS systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the EET to identify new projects and define scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Manage and coordinate with existing staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure project milestones are met whilst balancing the demands of existing staff members’ core roles and concurrent projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
  • Identify and report on project inter-dependencies to give an effective overview and risk assessment of project delivery 
  • Prepare PMO oversight summary for discussion at regular internal Project Board meetings
  • Provide or facilitate training and support to staff on new systems and processes.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience and knowledge:

Desirable: 

  • Experience in the social care sector although this could be from a variety of positions.

Essential:

  • Ability to operate outside of an established PMO environment, whilst having the experience to guide the EET through this new experience
  • Experience of being Project Lead on implementing SaaS products in people centric businesses
  • Able to demonstrate the importance of engaging with all stakeholders and why the collecting of feedback and follow-up is important.
  • Able to demonstrate evidence of good organisation and administrative skills for information sharing/report writing

Skills:

Essential:

  • Excellent communication skills and evidence of this from previous roles.
  • Good organisational skills in order to collate information, produce reports and support operational colleagues in achieving Group objectives.
  • Good skills using IT systems such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Teams.  The ability to collate and produce information in any of these formats.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise work effectively to meet agreed deadlines.

Must have a clear DBS due to the sensitive nature of data held by the business
