Lighting Control & Visualisation Assistant Manager (Network Bias) – Covent Garden

£47,226.82 per annum for 42.5 hours per week

Based in: Covent Garden, London

The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings.

We are seeking to hire a skilled Networking Technician with ETC Eos programming ability to join the Lighting Control & Visualisation Department. We are looking for individuals with complimenting skills and experience who have excellent networking knowledge and programming experience to help lead the department in staying at the forefront of technology and working practices.

You will be working alongside some of the industry`s leading Lighting Designers for world class opera and ballet productions. Based at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, you may also have the opportunity to work both nationally and internationally. Working with the Lighting Control & Visualisation Manager you will be central to developing a industry leading team. In addition, you will have the opportunity to grow and manage your own areas of specialism to help support the Royal Opera and Royal Ballet Companies and their visiting creative teams.

What you`ll bring:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong understanding of current networking technologies.
  • A good track record in lighting board control (ETC Eos preferable)
  • Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Basic understanding of Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Lightwright, MLA
  • Strong interpersonal skills for team management and collaboration.
