Job Title: DWMP & Water Recycling Growth Manager
£65,000 –Circa dependent on skills and experience & car allowance
Permanent
Full Time – 37 Hours
Location: Based within the Anglian Water region, we offer a hybrid of home and office working
The DWMP framework was developed by the water industry and key stakeholders to provide a consistent approach across water companies in England and Wales for long-term sewerage planning. Our DWMP identifies how we will extend, improve and maintain a robust and resilient drainage and wastewater system in light of the pressures of climate change, population growth and growing customer expectations.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for a Drainage & Wastewater Management Plan (DWMP) and Water Recycling Growth Manager to work within our Water Recycling business area. This is a key leadership role and you will be responsible for:

Implementing the DWMP framework and ensuring that we maintain and monitor against our current plan to meet our internal and external stakeholder deadlines.

Delivering short, medium and long-term investment strategies through plans that are aligned to the DWMP framework and supports business Purpose and goals.

Preparing the water recycling growth elements of the DWMP business plan.

Support the promotion and progression of water recycling growth schemes through the business.

Shaping and developing the next phase of the statutory DWMP cycle
To deliver this you will need to:

Lead external stakeholder communications and engagement, seeking high level Director support through to engagement at local levels.

Lead internal DWMP communications, governance and project management.

Lead Growth Collaboration Workshops to develop and drive an effective implementation process for the delivery of the growth strategies.

Represent Anglian Water at industry groups to shape the statutory DWMP requirements.

Maintain a wide network both internally and externally to ensure industry best practice is reflected in short, medium and long term plans.
Your role is critical to drive effective collaborative planning with internal and external stakeholders and to understand the risk and opportunities to enable us to deliver co-created solutions that support our growth plans.
What do you need?
We are looking for a strategic leader with experience of doing a similar role. You will also have a proven understanding of Water or Water Recycling processes and experience of:

Assessing risk and developing investment strategies.

Working at a technical and strategic level with other water companies, Local and Unitary Authorities, the Environment Agency, Ofwat, Defra, and Water UK.

Managing multiple stakeholders with the ability to influence at all levels in a collaborative way.

Translating strategy and planning approaches to communicate these to both stakeholders and team members.
