We have an exciting opportunity to join our head-office Commercial team as Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy for a one year fixed term contract. 


To lead network optimization activities for Burberry, across planning, investment prioritization and performance management, providing the platform for significant store productivity gains.



  • Maintenance and development of key management tools relating to the retail network, including the Global Store Project Planner, Store Network Master plan, and Store Floor Plan Guidelines
  • Lead Store Investment Group, manage agenda, provide content and follow up on the actions to support store capex planning, regional allocation, and delivery monitoring
  • Initiate and lead space productivity projects contributing to increase of store productivity through establishment of analytic framework, identification of individual store and network optimisation opportunities, option optimisation and fixture productivity projects
  • Work with commercial and technical teams in the deployment of an updated space planning tool
  • Provide store performance monitoring, quarterly updates on productivity, profitability and ensure appropriate visibility, reviews on annual bases in line with store productivity review
  • Support the Site Data Business Owner in the ongoing delivery of excellence in governance regarding store data


  • Around 8 years of retail and commercial experience, preferably in luxury fashion industry, with a focus on performance management and retail space productivity optimisation
  • Track record of producing outstanding results when establishing new initiatives through the establishment of clear processes, engagement with stakeholders across the business, and a relentless approach to delivery
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence Senior Stakeholders across a retail business
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver complex projects with performance focus peers across the organisation
