Hours:

This a full-time position Monday to Friday. You will be based in the South of England to allow for ease of access to our Bracknell office as well as to our clients for this area who are predominantly situated in and around the London area. There will be a mix of office and home working as well as travel required for the role of Audit Manager, with 1-2 days per week in the office and 1-2 days with clients on average.

The role of Audit Manager is paying up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience as well as a Car Allowance of £7,200 per annum.

What Will You Be Doing

Undertake audits on existing clients and surveys on new business, providing your expert analytical and commercial views to protect the integrity of SBF investments, aiming to keep bad debts to a minimum and optimising the income stream of SBF.

To streamline our onboarding process, the role will include underwriting capabilities for new business for prospects surveyed by the audit team, or by the Audit Manager (South) themselves.

As our Southern portfolio builds we envisage the role will encompass recruitment, training and management a small team of Auditors to service this geographical region.

You will also work closely with the SBF Head of Audit to ensure the audit function operates efficiently and works towards SBF meeting it targets whilst adhering to credit policy.

Working in a client facing environment you will be a key factor in ensuring SBF continues to provide excellent service to our client portfolio.

Our portfolio sits very much in the mid-market sector with audits conducted on clients across invoice discounting, factoring, chocs and our newly trademarked LedgerLite facilities.

Typically, audited, and surveyed businesses have an average of £350k funds out, but facilities range up to £5mill at the top end.

What Do We Need From You?

  • Invoice Finance / Asset Based Lending experience with a bias towards audit & survey / credit risk.

  • Strong people management skills.

  • Experience in IF / ABL underwriting / deal sanctioning.

  • UK Finance IF / ABL Diploma or equivalent industry related qualification preferred.
